6:32 PM CST – GREETINGS EARTHLINGS! – Today is Friday, June 9th, 2023 and it’s a beautiful day in Alabama. The weather is 84°F and sunny. Friday is my Monday, so I’m back on my weekend routine. I am taking a break from @Blipseekr on Twitter tonight, and possibly over this entire weekend. This morning at 10:00 AM CST, I started a new project that ties into one I had already started previously. I am curating random Wikipedia articles into blog posts that will contain 100 articles each. These of course will not be full articles, but rather titles, short excerpts, and links to the pages on Wikipedia. I know 100 per blog post is a lot, so I may break that down. I chose 100 so that I don’t have to create as many text files (my blog posts are written in Windows Notepad for editing before publishing), and hopefully to make mass-editing easier in the long run, as I will use the content in a new ebook I am working on to go along with this project. Also I am curating the Wikipedia categories from each article, and I plan on building a directory of the categories I collect. It’s a lot of work, but I am building resources for learning about new things on Wikipedia, and I think that is a good thing.
